Vineeth Reddy Vatti is a highly skilled and motivated Masters of Computational Data Science student at Carnegie Mellon University, who is currently seeking full-time opportunities. With a strong background in Computer Vision, Big Data, Machine Learning and AI, Vineeth has gained valuable experience in the field of data engineering and machine learning. Vineeth's experience includes a summer internship at TORC Robotics, where he worked on the perception team in detecting 2D objects and lanes. He also worked at Intuit for three years as a Data Engineer, where he built an in-house data-catalog tool based on Apache Atlas to scale for the 23000 RDBMS and NoSql sources. Additionally, he worked on developing the ML tools to manage the ETL pipelines. He developed a time series prediction model to find the pipelines which would miss the SLAs, and also built a cost utilization framework that helped reduce the cost of cloud resources for his team by 38%. Currently, Vineeth is working as a Machine Learning Intern at TORC Robotics in the Autonomy and Computer Vision team. He has incorporated Atrous Spatial Pyramid Pooling (ASPP) to improve the object detection module based on ScaledYoloV4. He has also leveraged a transfer learning approach to improve the object detection task using Image reconstruction and Image colorization-based autoencoders. Moreover, he created an AWS airflow-based pipeline to pre-process and annotate the data acquired from a different camera, Li-DAR, and Radar frames of the self-driving vehicle. He reduced the time taken to process the data to 8 hrs from 25 hrs. Vineeth has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. He has also completed Board of Intermediate from Vijaya Rathna Junior College and ICSE High School from Kotak Salesian School.
